This site specific performative installation took place in a disused wing of Mount Joy Prision, Dublin. Over a period of several months I worked with a group of prisoners in Mount Joy Prison. Together we dressed some cells, created a sound scape to be installed in a disused portion of the prison. For the event, visitors were invited into the cell block, split into groups of 3-4 and spent some time with the prisoners conversing in the cells. The visitors then joined the prisoners for tea, coffee and rice crispie buns in the wings recreation room. Subsequently visitors went on a tour of the live prison, including the prison museum leaving the prisoners behind.
